New Horizons in Science at the 10th World Conference of Science Journalists

Thursday, October 26, 2017 to Monday, October 30, 2017

The 55th annual New Horizons in Science briefings will be presented in San Francisco, California, as part of the 10th World Conference of Science Journalists. The WCSJ2017 program will be an "international edition," with many science sessions proposed and organized by colleagues around the world. Co-hosts of this special presentation are the University of California, San Francisco and UC Berkeley.

Diverse program of science and journalism sessions planned for WCSJ2017

May 1, 2017 — CASW and its partners in organizing the 10th World Conference of Science Journalists today unveiled a comprehensive program of conference sessions focusing on professional development, leading-edge research and issues in science and journalism for the five-day meeting to be held this October. Registration and access to the full preliminary program, which features renowned plenary speakers, is now open.

The 2017 edition of WCSJ, the biennial meeting of international science journalists, will be held October 26 to 30 in San Francisco, California, a global hub of science and technology innovation. This year marks the first time the conference will be held in the United States.
